I need some Lon Lon Milk to help me recover from my mind being blown…

Calling the Legend of Zelda series “epic” is both a gross understatement and a contributing factor to my constantly depleting list of friends.  WIth story-lines that are so intricate that even trying to summarize them would require a wikipedia-length post, it isn’t surprising that there has been much discussion about the series as a whole and how each game relates to another.

One of the biggest debates of the Legend of Zelda series is the timeline.  The series isn’t one that spits out sequels for the sake of making money or offering new innovations in gaming - they are made for the sake of carrying on a legend that seems to span over great periods of time.  I had my own theories about how each game fell into the timeline - as most evidence shows that they haven’t been released in chronological order - and they were only enhanced after I saw this incredible overview that was put together by GameTrailers.  Warning: The video below may a) blow your mind or b) make you like me less.  Either way, enjoy.
