The god who comes demands a longer 3rd season…
The delightful calamity that has become season 2 of True Blood is coming to a close this Sunday. To whet our appetite (rub the inevitable end and 9 month hiatus in our faces), HBO has posted several production stills from the final episode. All of the photos are fantastic, but aren’t worth any mention next to the glory of the photo above (which retains its glory even when doctored with crooked words strategically placed to look artistic).
Not only do we get the sweet Meat Tree with well deserved screen time, but we also get Maryann dressed as a Wood Nymph Bride. I don’t think this requires any further justification. This picture tells a well-rounded story: This finale will be 98% incredible (extra 2% reserved for the inevitable elimination of this Grecian beauty) and anyone who thinks otherwise is nothing more than wrong and probably socially retarded (the two go hand-in-hand).
